So I kind of fell off the handle there again.
I was in hard core deadline mode for my second medical from Harlequin.
Glad to say I made it, but my brain may not have.
It melted just a bit.
After I turned in my second book on April 25th, I relaxed. Or tried to.
I'm ready to get back into writing, but I have camp prep for Brownies this weekend.
So the writing will have to wait until next week.
Hopefully by then I'll really be ready to pump out the words.
I did the edits for Mounted Release's sequel yesterday.
Jared's story PRIVATE RELEASE will be coming out soon. I hope.
Stay tuned and I should have a date.
Until then, I hope you're getting Spring weather wherever you are!

A bit of a ramble
I've been burning the midnight oil recently. I'm trying to get some projects off my plate before I go on my trek across the country, because I'll be spending 5 days in the car out there. When we're out there we're visiting with my SIL who is getting married and then its 5 days home.
Actually, the distance we're travelling there in back is long enough to travel across the entire continent of North America. Crazy.
Good thing we got a new van in April. We weren't planning too. Our old 2005 had minimal amount of miles on it, but the engine went. It was either spend $3500 on a new engine with no guarantees or get a new van. The dealership gave us $4000 for our old mini van with the engine being pooched and we got our very first new vehicle.
Though, I do miss my old van because we bought it when I was pregnant with James, so we only had the van for 3 years.
That's another thing which is boggling my mind a bit. James will be three at the end of June. Three. My last baby. *sigh* Where does the time go.
Sorry for rambling on. It's all the midnight oil I burned last night. My brain is still a bit mushy.
I've seen the aurora before, but it's been a long time. My DH and my three kidlets haven't seen it. Here's hoping we get to see one.

Whoa
It's been a crazy busy spring and I just realized I haven't blogged since MARCH!! So unlike me, but I have been active on Facebook.
I've been prepping for our CROSS COUNTRY TRIP which is only 17 days away. WOOT!
But, I've decided in my absence in July that I would offer Chapter One of a book I'm self publishing in September 2012, titled Poisoned Touch.
It's part of the Summer Reading Trail, which offers free reads. My free read will go live June 30th in the evening and be available all of July. In August it will disappear.
As for other things, I've been deep in my writing/editing cave working on another bear book in the Mounted Release world! :)
I'll be back before I leave for my trip.
I'll try not to be so quiet and during my trip I plan on sharing some pictures of my trek. We're driving through Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario around Lake Superior. I have seen NONE of these places, except for just over the border of Michigan (where I shop! LOL).
