Masque of Desire

I bounce back quick for a ... well not a bad defeat as they want me to submit again.

I finished my last edits on MASQUE OF DESIRE tonight and I tweaked my query and synopsis (thanks again to Christine my guru) and I sent it off to EC.

So, we'll see what happens.

I was very unsure, I can tell you that. Especially in light of yesterday, but I sucked it in. MASQUE is off.

I'm tired so I won't be participating in Thursday Thirteen this week. Leave me your link in the comments though and I'll try to visit as many of you as I can. I'll be back next week, I promise.

Do I take it from the picture that Masque was inspired by Phantom somehow?

Thanks everyone. Yes Tempest that is still good news they want to see more, I'm happy about that.

Julia, Masque is inspired by the Phantom, another of my WIPS is. I just like the Phantom he's my favorite Masked Man.

Good for you! That's the best way--send it to another place!

Yay, that's the way to do it! When you get a rejection, send something else somewhere else. That's fantastic. I'm keeping my fingers, toes, arms, legs, and eyelashes crossed for you, Amy. I've got a good feeling about this one. :-))))

Yep, keep going as I said in a post a little earlier here...

You just keep making and submitting the projects. It's steressful to have things rejected, but you've got the energy to keep going rewrite new approach. Again, it's not you who is rejected it's the words and the order they are in...

:)

I hope you have a good weekend with your family and take some spare time to just daydream. Ha I know hard to do with the kids...but you did a great job by sending in another manuscript. Fantastic!

Amy, EC loves your voice, asked to to submit somthing else AND you had a double Big Mac?

Talk about a fabulous week so far! (Okay, the first rejection part totally sucked, but what doesn't kill us makes us love 80s music even more.)
