Flugah

Flugah is my new word to describe being run off your arse and then coming to a rest. This is supposed to be my vacation and I've been flugahed to death. I'm also burnt to death. I made sure my children had adequate sunblock, but I forgot about me. Whoops. The thing is it won't turn into a tan, it'll just peel and I'll go that oh so lovely shade of pasty white. My father and brother both got the wonderful light coppery skin tones of our first nation heritage. I crapped out and got my mother's white pasty English skin tone. *Sigh*

Being disconnected was terrible, horrific. I felt so lost, and that's sad in a way, but ever since I started blogging and getting to know fellow writers I have to say that I don't feel like I'm floating aimlessly on my own. I feel great. I feel like I am part of something greater, and it's good.

Speaking of being part of something exciting, as you all are aware tomorrow is release day for Christine, and also release of an exciting team blog known as Six Degrees of Sexy. So check that out tomorrow, we'll be launching it off talking about Christine's book THE BOND THAT TIES US.

Also, check out Joely's blog, SURVIVE MY FIRE is being released tomorrow.

I can't wait to read both. Now, back on to writing. With my burn I don't want Sven to crack that whip on my back. Yowch.

Hopefully my flugah mood shall pass.

Glad to have you back, Amy. I always feel cut off from the world when I don't have internet.

WEEEEE! You're back, finally!
Ouch on the burn. Try a bath with vinegar. It takes the sting out.
No, really. Trust me. I lived on a sunny isle where lots of pasty white tourists got burned.
Me? Never ;)
