SPIN DEVIL

I forgot to talk about Spin Devil. So here's my big Homer Simpson expression "D'OH!"

Spin Devil by Red Garnier is the first Exotika I have ever read by Ellora's Cave and it won't be the last.

Exotika is a bit more sultrier, a bit more racier and a heck load of HOTNESS.

It's about College friends who reunite and play an adult game of truth or dare by spinning a little plush devil. Cleo the uptight of the bunch decides to take a dare from the bully of the group. A man she thought loathed her, and a man she always secretly desired. His dare ... whoa I won't say any more 'cause that would spoil it. Aren't I a stinker.

So what should you do to find out the ending and find out the toe curling dare? Go to Ellora's Cave and get yourself a copy of Spin Devil.

On my own personal writing front, I have passed 15k of Journey, I only have 10k to write to get my first prize and I aim to claim that prize by this weekend. I want to go see Shrek 3, I know, it's sad.

I've picked out where my day trip (last prize) will be. I want to go spend a day at Peelee Island (I've never been further west than Chatham) so I hope to have the first draft of Journey complete by July 16th when me and hubby have a week off.

So those are some of the short term goals I have in mind. What about you?

15K?!! Way to go!!!
If I'd stop obsessing about PotO and get to writing, maybe I'd having something to brag about too...

I can't wait to take 'Light' (aka 7 yr old) to Shrek 3. I'm waiting until the lines die down a bit.

Have a GREAT writing week, Amy!!!

I am planning to buy Red's book soon--can't wait. Unfortunately, I'm out of the country for a several weeks and I'm afraid Shrek 3 will be out of the theaters by the time I make it home. :(

I loved Spin Devil too! I can't wait to read the next book. :)

I just crossed the 20k mark with my half of the halloween story. That means I only have another 10k and I'm done! I'm getting together with Renee this week and we're going to work out the kinks.

Yay for you, Amy, making it to 15K! That's great! :) Keep on keepin' on!

I reached my goal for last week: I finished my Mirror Blue revisions. Now I want to get chapters written for either my new WIP or my new, new WIP, and I haven't decided which one to focus on yet! Arrrgh! ;-D
